Previous Tasks to Tackle Today:
1. Work on 1-9 in last class blog for "Rogue Wave," pg 3 in text
Fill in your graphic for the short story AFTER you have read the story.
2. As called, bring your binder and yourself to Ms Burton's desk to: recite your memory lines #1 and to show your binder sections with completed vocabulary research for word #1 ubiquitous.
3. Now that you've read the story and know the outcome of our characters, go back and look for the clues that hinted to this particular outcome.
EX: 1) lines 13 -16: solid entry doors... I the mention of the sturdy doors that keep out
securing...against sudden invasion of seawater I water hint that she is safe if the boat takes
on water
HOMEWORK? Read your Independent Reading Selection. Have your book with you in the next class.

- On a clean sheet of paper, put today's date and title the paper with "Clues to Scoot's Survival."
- Split the paper into two parts: Lines from the story I what those lines tell me
