What a wonderful day to be in LA7! We have tasks that we started that must be finished today.
We have a visitor to welcome as well.  Let's make it a great day.
Previous Tasks to Tackle Today:
1. Work on 1-9 in last class blog for "Rogue Wave," pg  3 in text
Fill in your graphic for the short story AFTER you have read the story.
2. As called, bring your binder and yourself to Ms Burton's desk to: recite your memory lines #1 and to show your binder sections with completed vocabulary research for word #1 ubiquitous.

3. Now that you've read the story and know the outcome of our characters, go back and look for the clues that hinted to this particular outcome.
  • On a clean sheet of paper, put today's date and title the paper with "Clues to Scoot's Survival."
  • Split the paper into two parts:  Lines from the story I  what those lines tell me
These hints can be from the setting or from Scoot's character
EX:     1)  lines 13 -16: solid entry doors...                             I    the mention of the sturdy doors that keep out
