TASKS:
1. Share your caricatures! Explain your choices to your peers and teacher.
2. 6-Word Memoir
The last assignment that lets me learn about you is the 6-Word Memoir. You'll use only 6 words to describe who you are. Read the handout. Check out the due dates. Look at examples here. We will write several drafts today in class. Then you'll decide on the finished version to display.
3. Vocabulary
To be better communicators, we add to our vocabulary, but instead of traditional memorize/regurgitate testing format, we will follow the RESEARCH-USE-RECORD format, called the Vocabulary Journal. Today, we keep it simple with our very first word: ubiquitous. Our job today is to research this word. What information can we find on ubiquitous?
